Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of the Horowhenua Libraries
is held in March each year.

The 2007 meeting was held on Tuesday 18th March at 10.15 a.m. in Levin Library.
All members and intending members were invited to attend. 

At the 2007 meeting, the following officers were elected

We now have over 60 Friends of the Horowhenua Libraries, and volunteers who work in each of the branch libraries in Foxton, Shannon and Tokomaru.

There are two categories of members in the Friends of the Horowhenua Libraries:

Serving Members:
Service to the libraries in any capacity: book shelving, mending, committee, book sales, homebound deliveries, etc entitles one to be a Serving Member.

Supporting Members:
For those people who would like to be associated with us but are unable to spend the time, we have the category of Supporting Members who may make voluntary donations towards the work of the Friends. This helps to support the work we do for the libraries and entitles members to receive the Friends' Newsletter.
