Books for Babies
Every baby deserves the gift of stories.
- They're fun - you will both enjoy them.
- Children love being cuddled and talked to - which is just what you do when you share a story.
- Books are the best toy - they can be looked at, listened to, talked about, laughed and cried at.
- They help your baby learn and grow. A child's brain grows more quickly in the first two years than at any other time in its life - take advantage of this special learning time by adding books to your baby's early experiences. Hearing you read will encourage your child to talk, to love books and become a reader.
