A comprehensive collection of books relating to Te Ao Māori - the Māori World. This collection contains tribal histories, Māori language resources, information on the Treaty of Waitangi, issues before the Māori Land Court and magazines.

Taonga

A collection of rare, valuable or out of print books, mostly on Māori topics, including Fletcher's Index of Māori Names and Appendix to the Journals of the House of Representatives 1896 pertaining to the Horowhenua block. This collection is for use in Levin Library only.
New to this collection is The ancient history of the Māori by John White. First published in 1896, the thirteen volumes of this title have been recently reprinted by Waikato University. Ask at the Help Desk for access to all material in the Taonga Collection.

Te Ao Hou

Between Winter 1952 and June 1975 76 issues of Te Ao Hou magazine were published. These are now available on line.
